From The Desk of Ken Wood

Looking Forward

As one year closes, a new one beckons and I look forward to 2015 with a new sense of optimism.

No I have not lost my head, despite there being a pall of despondency surrounding the country in recent times. We believe we can demonstrate an array of services which will be of interest and value to the market.

It would be untruthful to say business has flourished in 2014 as conditions have been difficult as experienced by many others but I have used the time to analyse the market and customer needs and hope to capitalise on this for the benefit of my business and clients. So what is new for 2015?

In recent months I have formed an alliance with a company called Smart Advantage, operated by Rowen Gransden, someone I have known for several years who has a wealth of experience in similar fields in which I work. We will collaborate on a range of projects regarding issues such as development of people, career choices and assisting South Australian organisations with problem solving workforce challenges.

Banyan- Awareness –“The Key to Management Success”    (New Program)

We will promote new programs towards the development of middle managers in the field of awareness Breaking the Mould which we believe as a future important key factor in achieving a successful business.  The first program will commence in late February 2015.

Banyan – You & New Age Workforce – Your Next Move?

During the course of 2014 we have presented workshops to various organisations on this subject and I am pleased to say the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. We will extend this offer to our existing and prospective clients during 2015.

Careers in Focus

In 2014 we introduced a new service called Careers in Focus created to assist organisations and individuals.  We will provide that support using my wide experience working with people across the spectrum, utilising world class professional assessment tools and a strong knowledge of market trends and movements. Results can be achieved by a combination of these tools together with the use of intuition. Our initial assignments in this area have been very encouraging and we further expand our footprint next year.

We intend to further support the SME business community in 2015 by introducing more topics and issues which can assist our subscribers.

It is only left for me to wish my clients and contacts a happy and safe holiday, together my best wishes for good business in 2015.
