Learning from the Past

At a time when we are constantly searching for solutions how to manage and lead people throughout our fast changing society, it would seem to make sense to explore all possible avenues open to us including examining significant events from our history.

This has led me to develop a multi-faceted information and educational platform centred on the incredible story of Sir Ernest Shackleton. His incredible journey with 27 others to the South Pole in 1914 and the calamitous events that followed including their rescue in 1917.

The intent is to create interest for a wide range of groups and people by offering a range of presentations and workshops.
See how Australasians play major roles throughout the adventure.

Determine if the characteristics displayed have any correlation with the challenges we face today and beyond.

All sessions will deal with not only heroic acts of leadership but the vagaries of human decision making and behaviour.
